24 Hour Restaurant Battle
Rome wasn't built in a day, but if these aspiring restaurateurs have their way, their eateries will be. Food Network pits two teams of two against each other in the ultimate restaurant battle. Each team has 24 hours to plan, create and open a restaurant. One team member takes responsibility for the front of the house, planning seating, decor and service, while the other handles the back of the house, planning the menu, shopping for ingredients and, of course, preparing the food. Host Scott Conant, himself a well-known New York chef, and a panel of judges sample the menu at each establishment, and determine which team did the best job, winning the $10,000 prize.
